Mobile Tracker is a complete, standalone solution that provides remote battery temperature monitoring, instant alerts when temperature thresholds are exceeded, geolocation, and data backup.
This remote temperature monitoring device operates on an LTE network (global coverage), allowing, for example, monitoring of a quarantined car battery on a moving tow truck for towing services, car dealerships & garages, and storage facilities to alert and identify incidents.

The ideal operating temperature for a battery cell is around 25°C. Up to a temperature of 45°C is considered an optimal operating range. Above 60°C, the battery will be damaged by the decomposition of the anode, then the electrolyte. At around 130°C, the separator will melt and cause a short circuit. Above 250°C, the excessive temperature will cause thermal runaway, potentially leading to a fire.
