Using water mist to fight fires is a particularly fast and effective technique for battery fires. The SprayJet will help cool the area by absorbing the heat generated by the fire. This system also acts as a flame arrestor and limits the spread of fires.
A patented device, the SprayJet HV is a good complement to other firefighting methods, such as fire blankets. It can be used in a targeted manner, even where components are difficult to access.
The water mist will help suppress gases and particles emitted by the burning battery. This can be crucial in minimizing the risks associated with toxic fumes. These toxic combustion gases are eliminated by up to 75%. This water mist cooling system requires a pressure between 2 and 12 bar and very low water consumption compared to a high-pressure system or a traditional sprinkler. The small quantities of water produce minimal water contamination.
