Safety case for transporting and storing lithium-ion batteries 908.16

Certified cases as a safe solution for the transport and storage of intact or defective lithium-ion batteries and accumulators classified as dangerous goods. These cases are the ideal solution for e-bike batteries, portable tool batteries, and model batteries.

The 908.16 battery transport case protects against mechanical shocks. It is not uncommon for lithium batteries to malfunction due to improper storage or mechanical shock during transport, especially in the case of electric bicycle batteries. They are more likely to fall to the ground and potentially cause damage. Equipped with foam cubes, lithium batteries stored and transported in B&W 908.16 transport cases are effectively protected from external influences.

The 908.16 battery transport case is equipped with specially developed, non-flammable padding and two fireproof protective bags. This means that the Li-ion batteries packed inside can not only be transported safely, but in the event of a fire, the protective bag has a fire-retardant effect. An activated carbon filter reduces escaping gases and prevents the formation of soot in the event of a potential battery fire.
