Enhanced Safety: Lithium-ion batteries pose a risk of fire or explosion if overheated, overcharged, or short-circuited. The LOXK2000 cabinet is specially designed to provide additional protection by confining the batteries in a fire-resistant space (from inside or outside the cabinet) for 90 minutes, thus limiting the risks to people and property in the event of an incident. The cabinet has two “self-closing” doors that can be locked by a key with multi-point locking, two smoke detectors, and a temperature sensor. In the event of thermal runaway, an AF-X aerosol device is activated to cool the battery and control the fire. In the event of a rapid evacuation, the cabinet is equipped with adjustable foot supports and can be moved via all four sides using a pallet truck. When the temperature in the cabinet exceeds 50°C, the charging process automatically stops and an alarm sounds. This prevents overheating and reduces the risk of fire. The approved fire panel (EN12094) ensures proper connection to your existing SSI fire panel. Optional alerts are available via SMS.
