Specially developed for industry, storage, and logistics professionals, these fire covers provide optimal fire prevention and protection. In the event of a lithium-ion battery fire, the battery burns in a controlled manner under the fire cover without endangering nearby objects and with significantly reduced ambient temperature and smoke production.
Every day, firefighters extinguish fires involving vehicles or industrial machinery. They most often use foam, powder, or water. It is virtually impossible to prevent toxic substances from being released into the air or groundwater.
VLITEX is taking a new approach. Certified for use up to 1,700°C (3,700°F) at peak temperatures, these fire covers act as a fire shield. They immediately reduce smoke production and contain flames and heat. Toxic vapors remain under the cover.

Base Material: 560g/m² high-temperature fiberglass fabric with a special silicone coating on both sides.
Acid and chemical resistant.
Assembled with flame-retardant sewing thread.
