In the event of a lithium-ion battery fire, the battery burns in a controlled manner under the fire blanket without endangering nearby objects and with significantly reduced ambient temperature and smoke development.
Preventive use for damaged batteries, during charging or storage of lithium-ion batteries or devices, or battery-operated devices that have become hot. Place the blanket over the object as a preventative measure. Ensure the object is completely covered.
Use for conventional fires: Hold the blanket by the corners or loops and place it a safe distance above the burning object.
