Certified collapsible transport containers for defective Jumbo batteries

The increasing energy density of lithium-ion batteries and their inevitable use in all industrial sectors inevitably lead to significantly higher potential risks, such as damage during transport, storage, and production disruptions. Whether by sea, air, rail, or road: collapsible plastic hazardous materials containers enable the safe packaging and transport of hazardous products.

The JUMBO large-capacity collapsible plastic containers meet all the requirements of modern and environmentally friendly transport and storage logistics. Thanks to a special construction consisting of a thermoformed twin-sheet pallet, a folding ring, and a thermoformed twin-sheet lid, they are lightweight, durable, and high-performance. They are ergonomic and safe to handle, have a long service life, and can be fully recycled at the end of their use. For the storage and transport of empty packaging, the large-capacity carriers can be folded to save space.

To help you find the right packaging for your hazardous products, such as lithium-ion batteries, battery cells, or battery modules, JUMBO containers are available in three different variants:

The Standard variant for simple packaging,
The RECY variant equipped with fiberglass fabric for packaging defective lithium-ion batteries,
The PyroBubbles variant (with fiberglass fabric + PyroBubbles® filling) for maximum protection for packaging defective, damaged, prototype lithium-ion batteries, and for recycling.

Complies with ADR special regulations SV376, SV377 & SV310 and the packing instructions:
P903: This instruction applies to intact lithium-ion or lithium metal cells and batteries, of UN Nos. 3090, 3091, 3480, and 3481, including when contained in equipment.

P908: This instruction applies to damaged or defective lithium-ion or lithium metal cells and batteries of UN Nos. 3090, 3091, 3480 and 3481, including when contained in equipment.
P909: This instruction applies to UN Nos. 3090, 3091, 3480 and 3481 transported for disposal or recycling, whether or not mixed with non-lithium cells and batteries.

P910: This instruction applies to production runs of up to 100 cells and batteries of UN Nos. 3090, 3091, 3480 and 3481 and to pre-production prototypes of cells and batteries of these UN numbers when these prototypes are transported for testing.
