Even if the battery of an electric scooter is fixed, it is possible to protect the environment in the event of a fire. VLICOVER E-Bike fire blankets are placed over the scooter or e-bike. If the battery catches fire, the heat and fire remain under the blanket, and smoke formation is significantly reduced.

In the event of a lithium-ion battery fire, the battery burns in a controlled manner under the fire blanket without endangering nearby objects and with significantly reduced ambient temperature and smoke production.

Every day, firefighters extinguish fires involving vehicles or industrial machinery. Most often, they use foam, powder, or water for this purpose. It is virtually impossible to prevent toxic substances from being released into the air or groundwater.

Certified for use up to 1,300°C at peak temperatures, the E-bike fire blanket acts as a shield against the fire. It helps control the fire and slow its spread, with a significant and immediate reduction in smoke and temperature. Toxic vapors remain under the blanket.

Base material: 550g/m² special fiberglass fabric with a silicone coating on both sides (compliant with standard EN 13501-1:2018).
Acid and chemical resistant.
Assembled with flame-retardant sewing thread.
Fixing straps and pull handles with silicone coating.

Maintenance-free; the material is weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant.
