In the event of a lithium-ion battery fire, the battery burns in a controlled manner under the fire blanket without endangering nearby objects and with significantly reduced ambient temperature and smoke development.
Every day, firefighters extinguish fires involving vehicles or industrial machinery. Most often, they use foam, powder, or water for this purpose. It is virtually impossible to prevent toxic substances from being released into the air or groundwater.
Certified for use up to 1,000°C, the S LINE fire blanket acts as a shield against fire. It helps control the fire and slow its spread, with a significant and immediate reduction in smoke and temperature. Toxic vapors remain under the blanket.
