In logistics platforms or enclosed buildings, special protective measures must be implemented to minimize structural damage in the event of a fire and to protect the environment from the extreme heat and toxic smoke. Battery fires are rare, but if one does break out, it is impossible to extinguish.
ecell-guard detects heat or smoke, triggers the alarm, activates the protection system, and alerts the fire department. All this happens automatically, without human intervention, and in just a few seconds.
- Protecting people, buildings, and the environment is a top priority in the event of a fire. Currently, there is no widespread and effective extinguishing concept for lithium-ion battery fires.
- Toxic smoke and heat endanger human life. Furthermore, smoke contaminates the entire environment, making firefighting more difficult, and also leading to increased cleanup costs.
- Fire isolation is particularly important for fire protection concepts in logistics platforms, production and industrial sites, and quarantine zones.
- Fighting lithium-ion battery fires requires large quantities of water, which must be decontaminated and treated if necessary.

The alert system
A fire alarm system, independent of the power grid, manages up to thirty systems. Various sensors provide optical and acoustic warnings of smoke or heat. The ecell-guard system is triggered.
The wall cassette
The automation works lightning fast after activation. The wall box contains a fire blanket. Using a diverter kit, the blanket is automatically placed over the affected area.
The fire blanket
Insulate fire, retain heat, and minimize smoke release with a fire blanket. This protects people, the environment, and the building structure.
