Dans les parkings ou les bâtiments fermés, des mesures de protection particulières doivent être imaginées pour minimiser les dommages aux structures en cas d’incendie et pour protéger l’environnement de l’énorme chaleur et de la fumée toxique. Les incendies de véhicules électriques sont rares mais si un incendie se déclare, il est impossible de l’éteindre.
ecell-guard detects heat or smoke, triggers the alarm, activates the protection system, and alerts the fire department. All this happens automatically, without human intervention, and in just a few seconds.
- Protecting people, buildings, and the environment is a top priority in the event of a fire. Currently, there is no widespread and effective extinguishing concept for electric vehicle fires.
- Toxic smoke and heat endanger human life. Furthermore, smoke contaminates the entire environment, making firefighting more difficult, and also leading to increased remediation costs.
- Fire insulation is particularly important for fire protection concepts in enclosed parking lots, municipal and private buildings, quarantine areas, and private parking lots.
- Fighting fires in internal combustion vehicles, which is still common today, requires large quantities of water and, if necessary, other additives to make firefighting possible. In the event of a fire involving an electric car and its lithium-ion batteries, the water is highly contaminated and must be treated.

The alert system
A fire alarm system, independent of the power grid, manages up to thirty systems. Various sensors provide optical and acoustic warnings of smoke or heat. The ecell-guard system is triggered.
The wall cassette
The automatic system operates at lightning speed after activation. The wall box contains a fire blanket. Using a return kit, the blanket is automatically placed over the affected vehicle.
The fire blanket
Insulate fire, retain heat, and minimize smoke release with a fire blanket. This protects people, the environment, and the building structure.
